As a home cook who makes everything from scratch for my family of six, I take my seasonings very seriously. I used to purchase from Two Sisters—jerk seasoning, scotch bonnet, browning, all-purpose, and more—but I recently discovered Spice Jamaica while making a fresh batch of green seasoning in my kitchen. I came across the Chef’s video on YouTube and was instantly drawn in by his energy, creativity, and passion for flavor. I decided to support this Black-owned business—and I’m so glad I did.
From start to finish, the experience was amazing. The packaging was secure and professional, and shipping was smooth. But most importantly, the flavor blew me away.
Every blend is bold and authentic, but my current favorite is the Reggae Blend—it’s rich, layered, and brings the perfect amount of heat. I’ve even started using it to help my toddlers build a love for spicier foods, and they can’t get enough!
I’ve already used these seasonings in everything from Jamaican beef patties to grilled veggies, and I’m even toying with the idea of making a jerk-flavored tamale next. At the rate we’re going, I’ll need to reorder by the end of the month.
Spice Jamaica has definitely earned a spot in my kitchen, and I’ll be a loyal customer from here on out. Highly recommend!
